Manufacturers Download
The task fetches the manufacturers from the Shopware shop into TRADElube. It is the way to go when the shop already keeps the manufacturer list and you do not want to type it a second time. If you maintain the manufacturers in TRADElube, use Manufacturers Upload.
What gets transferred
For each manufacturer in the shop, TRADElube gets the name and, if you switch them on, the link to the website and a description. The execution reads the manufacturers sorted by name.
The logo stays in the shop. The task transfers no image, in neither direction. Images travel via Media Download, and there they are not attached to the manufacturer.
How the transfer plan is built
The task has exactly one plan with two sections:

Both description fields fetch the same text from the shop and both are switched off. So you decide whether that text arrives in TRADElube as a short description or as a description. Link, by contrast, is switched on.
For a second language TRADElube reads the shop's translation. In the tab of a language version that is not your default language a second source stands ready for it, and it is preselected there: it takes the translation rather than the base text. Which of the shop's languages that means is decided by the tab Languages on the channel. Without that mapping the source finds no translation.
Further language versions are added via the button Insert. To begin with only your client's default language is there. While that is the case there is no tab bar, and its tab cannot be deleted later either.
Special features and limits
Cleaning up happens only on a manual start, and the confirmation names the number of manufacturers that no longer exist in the shop. A scheduled execution never deletes. If there were deviations during the execution, the clean-up is skipped entirely, and the message Clean Manufacturers Skipped says so: from an incompletely read shop you must not conclude "gone".
Manufacturers Download and Manufacturers Upload maintain the same channel mapping. So settle per channel which side keeps the manufacturer list.
