Products To Category Erase

The action takes an article out of a category. Neither the article nor the category is touched in the process, only the connection between the two falls away.

What gets transferred

The ERP system sends the same two identifiers as when setting, the article's and the category's. Where there is no assignment for the pair, the report is fine all the same: the ERP system gets the answer that there was nothing to delete, and traces carry an entry noting that it was skipped.

The article counts as changed afterwards, so that the connected shops get the new sorting. An article dropping out of its last category may therefore disappear from a shop's navigation without having been deleted in TRADElube.

How the transfer plan is built

This action has no transfer plan. There is nothing to map, because all that arrives is the two identifiers. So under Products To Category the channel's Transfer Plans section carries only Update.

Special features and limits

Re-sorting consists of two calls, first deleting the old assignment and then setting the new one. A single call moving an article from one category into another is not provided for. Whether your ERP system sends both calls is decided by its connecting program.

Where the category itself is deleted, this action is not needed. Categories Erase clears the assignments away with it.
